GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: To provide specialized technical service for maintenance, repair, inspection, and commissioning of surface drilling equipment—specifically Rotary and Boom Drill types—ensuring fleet availability and reliability. Execute scheduled maintenance, resolve unexpected issues, perform failure analysis, and provide technical advisory support to customers, complying with Sandvik and client standards and procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform maintenance, inspection, repair, and commissioning of equipment. / Diagnose and resolve complex technical failures on-site. / Provide specialized technical support and advisory services to customers. / Prepare technical reports and propose operational improvements. / Train and transfer knowledge to technicians and end users. / Comply with Health, Safety, and Environment (EHS) standards. REQUIREMENTS: Higher-level technical diploma or degree in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanics, Heavy Machinery, or related fields / Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role with heavy machinery / Knowledge of surface Rotary and Boom Drill equipment (mandatory) / Negotiation skills, with ability to manage agreements and resolve situations involving various stakeholders / Basic technical English (mandatory) / Willingness to work rotating shifts as required by the company / Class B driver’s license, minimum 3 years’ validity (mandatory) / Class D driver’s license (desirable) / Residence in the Northern Region (desirable).
