Position: KCH Mechanic/Operator – Escondida Mining Operation Purpose of the Position: Perform equipment maintenance and repair functions, as well as operation of support equipment including: forklifts, man-lifts, overhead cranes, lubrication trucks, and crane trucks. Responsibilities: Responsible for operating lubrication trucks, cranes, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment during disassembly and assembly of components and/or spare parts. Transportation of components, spare parts, materials, and supplies. Maintenance and minor repairs of trucks. Preparation of technical reports. Defensive driving. Applicants must have medically compatible health status and availability to work rotating day and night shifts under a 7x7/8x6 schedule: 08:00–20:00 hrs for day shift and 20:00–08:00 hrs for night shift. Interested candidates should ideally reside in the Second Region — either in Antofagasta or Calama — or be willing to cover their own travel expenses from their city of residence to Antofagasta, where the company provides transportation, accommodation, and meals.
