Job Summary: SIGMA S.A. is seeking an Inspector A to supervise and oversee the proper execution of civil works in mining projects, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Verify compliance with safety and environmental standards **SIGMA S.A.**, an integrated service provider for mining and engineering—delivering solutions focused on construction, commissioning, and maintenance—is currently seeking personnel for one of our projects located in Atacama (Salvador Contract) for the position of **Inspector A**. **Main Responsibilities:** * Supervise and oversee the proper execution of civil works on site, ensuring compliance with drawings, technical specifications, and current regulations. * Monitor physical progress of works, preparing daily/weekly progress and quality reports. * Verify compliance with safety, occupational health, and environmental standards on site, according to Codelco protocols. * Validate quantity take-offs, measurements, and payment certificates submitted by contractors. * Report non-conformities and manage their resolution in coordination with supervisors and contractors. * Participate in technical and safety coordination meetings with contractors and client team. * Review and approve technical procedures and Work Plans proposed by contractors. * Support review of technical documentation (drawings, specifications, calculation reports) and issue observations as appropriate. * Maintain photographic and documentary records of inspected works. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 7 years of experience, including at least 5 years in construction or inspection of large-scale earthworks operations.
