Professional development opportunities in a high-performance environment. **Quality Inspector – El Salvador Division (Codelco)** --------------------------------------------------------------- **SIGMA S.A.**, a leading provider of engineering, procurement, and construction services for the mining and industrial sectors, invites qualified professionals to apply for the position of **Quality Inspector**, to be based at **Codelco's El Salvador Division**. ### Academic Requirements * Civil Mechanical Engineer, Civil Structural Engineer, or Civil Engineer with a structural specialization (degree holder). ### Experience * **2 to 5 years** of experience in **structural calculation and design** for **mining or industrial projects**. * Preferred experience in **steel structures** (chutes, hoppers, supports, platforms, walkways, frames, and mechanical equipment). * Basic experience in **civil foundations** or **reinforced concrete structures** is desirable. ### Technical Knowledge * Proficiency in **structural analysis software**: SAP2000, ANSYS, STAAD.Pro, or equivalent tools. * Proficiency in **AutoCAD** and **Revit** (desirable). * Up-to-date knowledge of **Chilean and American structural codes**. * Ability to prepare **calculation memos** and **technical reports**. * **Position Conditions** * **Work Schedule:** 4x3 rotation * **Work Mode:** On-site – El Salvador Division, Codelco. * **Contract Type:** Fixed-term contract for 60 days, with potential conversion to an **indefinite-term contract**, subject to performance and commercial conditions with the Client. ### We Offer * Opportunity to join a company with extensive experience in engineering and industrial projects. * Participation in large-scale initiatives in the mining sector. * Professional development opportunities in a high-performance environment.
