Job Summary: We are seeking an Environmental Sampler to conduct on-site environmental monitoring activities, including sampling, measurement, and inspection. Key Responsibilities: 1. Recognized globally as the benchmark for quality and integrity, we employ over 95,000 professionals and operate a network of more than 2,400 offices and laboratories worldwide. **Job Description** **Work Location:** Antofagasta Region, with field activities at the Plant, Mine, and Ascotán Salt Flat areas. * Conduct on-site environmental sampling, measurement, inspection, and verification activities. * Collect surface water, groundwater, wastewater, drinking water, air, and other environmental matrices as required. * Operate environmental monitoring and measurement equipment, ensuring correct usage and functionality. * Apply sampling, preservation, storage, and transportation procedures for samples in accordance with established technical requirements. * Maintain sample chain of custody and traceability from collection through delivery to the laboratory. * Record field information, measurement results, and supporting data required for report preparation. * Verify compliance with technical, environmental, and safety procedures during activity execution. * Promptly report deviations, contingencies, or findings identified in the field. * Ensure proper condition of equipment, instruments, materials, and supplies used in monitoring. * Support implementation of the environmental monitoring program and associated operational service requirements. **Requirements** We seek to hire an **Environmental Sampler** to conduct on-site environmental monitoring activities. * Higher Technical Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or related field. * Minimum of **5 years** of experience in environmental monitoring and sampling activities. * Advanced knowledge of environmental sampling techniques. * Experience in field measurements and monitoring of environmental components. * Knowledge of environmental, occupational health, and safety procedures. * Ability to conduct environmental sampling, measurement, inspection, and verification activities. * Class B driver's license with at least 1 year of validity. * Availability for fieldwork and travel to various monitoring locations. * Ability to work collaboratively and adhere to technical and operational procedures. * Proactive, responsible, punctual individual with strong commitment to safe work practices. **Additional Information** We offer: * Life insurance from date of joining the organization * Special leave entitlements * Benefits through Caja Los Andes and associated agreements * Ongoing training.
