Prepare sales-related documents throughout the entire sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet orders for events). Promote brand image awareness both internally and externally. Gather materials and assemble information packages (e.g., brochures, promotional materials). Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining current guest loyalty to Marriott. Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, initiatives, third parties) using sales-process-related software. Respond to guest inquiries regarding property facilities and services (e.g., activity hours, room rates and types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events). Serve as the point of contact for customers and communicate with them via telephone and email to answer questions and fulfill requests. Comply with all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets. Greet and recognize all guests according to company standards; anticipate their service needs and fulfill them; and thank them with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; and answer telephones using proper protocol. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team in achieving common goals; listen and respond appropriately to concerns raised by other employees. Adhere to quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. DESIRABLE SKILLS Education:High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
