Job Summary: We are seeking an Autoclave Operator for the sterilization of medical instruments, responsible for rigorous processes using steam and ethylene oxide equipment. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in medical instrument sterilization A leading company in the field of medical instrument sterilization, with 20 years of industry experience and a pioneer in its management system, is currently seeking an experienced Autoclave Operator (with SEREMI registration to operate autoclaves) and medical instrument sterilization specialist for its central facilities located in Viña del Mar. The incumbent must perform sterilization of medical-surgical materials using steam autoclave and ethylene oxide methods, strictly adhering to procedures and standards established in the company’s Procedures Manual—both in operating sterilization equipment and controlling the process, as well as completing full, legible, and organized records in the prescribed forms or templates. Requirements: Education: Higher Technical Degree / Licensed Nursing Technician (TENS), certified and registered with SIS. Experience: Minimum 1 year in this position. IAAS training course (desirable). Autoclave Operator training and certification (SEREMI registration) — mandatory. Training courses relevant to the candidate’s area of expertise (non-mandatory). Specialization in surgical instrumentation (non-mandatory).
