Contribute to a high-standard security service **Longport Chile S.A., a company specialized in airport security services, is currently recruiting new personnel to reinforce its team at Santiago International Airport, in the commune of Pudahuel.** Below, we provide important information regarding the position, employment conditions, and the various stages included in the hiring process, so you may review them before proceeding with your application. **What does this position entail?** Main responsibilities include: * Performing airport security duties in accordance with applicable protocols, procedures, and current regulations. * Actively collaborating with operational teams and other airport departments. * Contributing to the development of a high-standard airport security service. Available Work Schedules Currently, our requirements include personnel for the following work arrangements: **PART-TIME – 5x2, 20 hours per week** **Approximate net monthly salary: $400\.000, excluding overtime hours and additional bonuses.** Shifts are rotating, and schedules are determined monthly according to airline flight timetables. Therefore, during the application process, you may indicate your availability for Full-Time, Part-Time, or both arrangements, based on your personal circumstances. **Main Requirements** To progress through the hiring process, the following requirements (among others) must be met: Hold a valid OS\-10 course certificate (not mandatory). Have completed secondary education. For Chilean applicants: valid national identification documents. For foreign applicants: valid Chilean permanent residency ID (Cédula Definitiva) and valid Chilean 4th-year secondary education certification. IMPORTANT: Duration and Stages of the Process We want to clarify from the outset that this is not an immediate hiring process. The full process may take approximately 20 days, including interviews, assessments, induction, training, and accreditation stages. **Generally, the process includes the following stages:** * 1\. Contract signing and onboarding * 7\. Airport accreditation process The training and instruction process includes online courses and constitutes a fundamental stage required to advance toward onboarding. The information provided by Longport outlines a training period of approximately 20 days. It is critical to note that all courses and training stages occur prior to contract signing. Therefore, passing the interview does not constitute immediate hiring. To be onboarded, you must successfully complete all stages of the process. Airport Accreditation Process As part of onboarding (after contract signing), the corresponding airport accreditation stages must be completed, including: Filing of official documentation. Photograph capture. Medical and psychological evaluations. DGAC briefing session. DGAC examination. Accreditation is managed by Longport. Employment Conditions Initial employment terms include: A fixed-term contract for six months, with potential transition to an indefinite-term contract based on performance and organizational needs.
