Regarding gender equity, we aim to achieve 35% female representation by 2027 and ensure equal opportunities for all people, as we firmly believe in the value of diverse teams (this offer falls under Law 21\.015, which promotes the inclusion of persons with disabilities). **We invite you to join one of the best places to develop your talents!** **Job Purpose:** To efficiently contribute to achieving the production programs of the process in which the position participates, by controlling and executing all operational activities in accordance with production targets and maintenance programs, while ensuring compliance with—and enforcing—the policies, standards, and procedures established by the Division and the Corporation related to safety, occupational health, environment, and diversity and inclusion. **Because here your talents will serve Chile!** **Main Responsibilities:** * Operate equipment following guidelines and standards to maintain process control. * Inspect and verify the condition of equipment operated or used, performing tests to ensure proper functioning and incident prevention. * Carry out job-related activities and tasks, coordinating with the assigned crew and managing risks that could affect quality, safety, working environment, and personnel health. * Participate in scheduled operational activities across other processes managed by the Operations Management, to ensure organizational continuity and adherence to maintenance plans. * Comply with established work procedures and standards for activities and tasks within the process involved. * Apply safety, quality, and environmental standards and procedures, participating in analysis and dissemination activities within the work area. * Collaborate with the work team and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with team members. * Propose and participate in continuous improvement initiatives for tasks performed, aimed at ensuring operational continuity of the process involved. * Record operational parameters / maintenance checklists and report operational incidents—or any others affecting safety, quality, environment, and occupational health—to the immediate supervisor. * Participate in personal and team development activities—including training, performance evaluations, organizational climate assessments, or other initiatives defined by Human Resources. * Respect and uphold the Corporation’s values in all work-related activities. **Application Requirements:** * Completed secondary or technical secondary education. * Minimum two years of experience in mining. * Minimum two years of experience in operation and/or maintenance of equipment, facilities, and their systems. * Health compatible with the position. **Desirable Qualifications:** * Knowledge of or studies in metallurgy. * Valid Class B driver’s license with at least two years of validity. * Valid Class C driver’s license. **Offered Conditions:** * Contract type: Indefinite-term. * Contractual position: General Operator. * Work location: Chuquicamata Division. * Work shift: 7X7\. * Number of vacancies: 09\. **Application Deadline: Thursday, May 21, 2026\.** Application closing time: 23:59 hrs. “I hereby declare that I am fully aware of the conditions—according to Codelco’s regulations—that may constitute an incompatibility for holding the position I am applying for and, consequently, may affect my continued participation in the selection process.
