We are currently seeking **Excavator Operators** for a major mining project in the Antofagasta region. **Position Objective:** Operate excavators to carry out excavation, loading, and material handling tasks in support of the project’s civil works, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. Contribute to achieving operational objectives by using equipment appropriately, performing preventive equipment inspections, complying with applicable safety procedures and regulations, and coordinating effectively with the fieldwork team. **Job Responsibilities:** * Operate excavators on earthmoving, trenching, material loading, and unloading tasks, adhering to technical and safety procedures. * Perform pre- and post-operational daily equipment inspections and complete required documentation. * Report equipment status and performed activities to the supervisor, promptly alerting them to anomalies or preventive/corrective maintenance needs. * Ensure safe machinery operation by adjusting maneuvers according to terrain and environmental conditions. * Comply with traffic and road safety regulations, particularly within the worksite environment. * Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to sound safety practices. * Actively collaborate with the work team to optimize execution of assigned site tasks. * Maintain required documentation and certifications up to date (license, training courses, accreditations). **Requirements:** * Completed secondary education * 3 years of experience * Excavator operation certification * Defensive Driving Course / Valid Professional Class D License If you are seeking an exciting challenge and possess the skills and experience we require, we invite you to apply.
