At Clínica RedSalud **IQUIQUE**, we are currently seeking a **Pharmaceutical Chemist.** **Mission:** To provide pharmaceutical services to patients and clinical units, supervising medication storage, dispensing, safeguarding, and proper use of controlled medications and PROA—ensuring appropriate, timely, and safe utilization for patients in accordance with ministerial regulations and clinical protocols. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform various administrative tasks related to handling narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances within the pharmacy unit or other clinical units. * Analyze requests for medications and medical supplies required for scheduled surgeries in operating rooms. * Review medication and supply requirements from clinical services and manage procurement in compliance with current local regulations. * Monitor requests for reserve antimicrobials; maintain records and statistics on antimicrobial consumption. * Supervise medication dispensing to ensure correctness and verify that daily dosages do not exceed recommended limits. * Provide drug-related information to the pharmacy unit and other clinical units. **Desired Profile** ------------------ **Requirements:** **Degree or Program:** Chemistry and Pharmacy; Professional Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. **Required Knowledge:** Chemistry and Pharmacy, medication usage, adverse effects. **Required Experience:** At least 1 year of experience in clinical pharmacy practice within the public or private sector. **Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:** * Commitment * Responsibility * Rigor Experience from 1 years Minimum Education: University degree Graduate Chemistry and Pharmacy Proactive Responsible Strong Teamwork Performance Planning and Organization Effective Communication
