We are now seeking a **Senior Data Scientist** to join our team and lead the development of advanced Data Science solutions within our data ecosystem. This role will be responsible for transforming complex information into data-based models and products that deliver direct impact for our users, corporate clients, and insurance partners. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing our **AI and advanced analytics capabilities**, actively contributing to the company’s data strategy. You will also serve as a technical reference within the team, driving a culture of experimentation, innovation, and continuous learning. You will work closely with **Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Insurance teams**, ensuring developed models integrate effectively into the app and critical business processes—maintaining quality, performance, and long-term value generation. ### **What We Expect From You:** * Contribute to defining and evolving the **Data Science roadmap**, identifying modeling opportunities aligned with business strategy and data ecosystem development. * Design, develop, train, and validate **analytical AI models**, selecting the most appropriate approach per use case (predictive models, risk scoring, segmentation, recommendation systems, anomaly detection, or causal analysis). * Design and execute **experiments and controlled tests** (A/B testing, multivariate experiments), applying techniques such as uplift modeling and causal inference to measure impact and guide product decisions. * Collaborate closely with **Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Business teams** to deploy models into production and integrate them into product experiences and strategic processes. * Monitor model performance in production, tracking accuracy, stability, fairness metrics, and preventing degradation over time. ### **What We’re Looking For:** * **3–5+ years of applied Data Science experience**, ideally in digital product environments or industries such as health-tech, insurtech, or fintech. * Demonstrable experience **deploying ML/AI models in production environments**, with evidence of impact on business metrics. * Experience in **predictive modeling, risk scoring, segmentation, recommendation engines, anomaly detection, and causal analysis**. * Proficiency in advanced techniques to **identify patterns, uncover causal relationships, anticipate behaviors, and support data-driven business decisions**. * Autonomy and strong **software engineering practices**, ensuring robust, maintainable, and scalable code. **Nice to have:** * Experience building **Machine Learning pipelines**, and working with containerization and cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP). **What We Offer:** * Access to the Betterfly platform! * Health — Life insurance, supplementary medical and dental insurance! * Betterfly FlexBen bonus * Nursery benefit for Betterflyer mothers and fathers! * Your Day! — Birthday off * Festivity Time — Fully paid week off for Christmas or New Year! * Flexible hours — Hybrid work. * Volunteering opportunities. * Multicultural environment. * Professional development opportunities in a highly innovative environment. *At Betterfly, you’ll find a diverse and inclusive culture—free of gender stereotypes, holistic, and respectful.
