Explore a world of possibilities and join our team! **Role Objective:** We seek the person who will build the company’s data brain: Lead explora’s data and AI strategy and operations; build and govern a cloud-based AI-ready data platform; materialize the Traveler's Golden Record as the company’s unique, certified asset; and manage the systems development portfolio—ensuring every data and AI initiative translates into measurable business value. Key Responsibilities **Strategy and Architecture:** Design the company’s data and AI architecture on GCP/BigQuery using the medallion model (Bronze, Silver, Gold). **Modeling:** Lead the star schema (dimensions and facts) and MARTS by business area (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply, Accounting). **The Traveler's Golden Record:** Consolidate OBT tables feeding explora’s business intelligence agents. **Ecosystem Integration:** Integrate Opera Cloud/OHIP, SAP Business One, TCPOS, web and GA4, WhatsApp, Hotelinking, PGO—with quality, traceability, and compliance with Law 21\.719\. **Development Portfolio:** Manage the systems roadmap, combining internal teams and vendors. **AI Governance:** Drive adoption of AI agents through use cases with explicit, measurable value objectives. **Data Governance:** Data quality, lineage, master data, privacy, and data ethics—coordinated with the Security Officer. **Team and Budget:** Lead and develop the team; manage vendors, contracts, and departmental budget. **Executive Reporting:** Communicate progress, KPIs, and generated value to the Technology Submanagement and Executive Committee. Application Requirements Civil or Executive Engineering degree in Computer Science, Computing, Data, or related field. Postgraduate degree, master’s, or diploma in data, analytics, or AI. 5+ years in data, analytics, or development; 2–3 years leading teams or vendors. Proven experience building cloud data warehouses or lakehouses with production dimensional models. AI/ML initiatives deployed to production with real business impact beyond pilot stage. Experience in hospitality, tourism, or retail (desirable). Technical Knowledge Cloud data warehouse (GCP BigQuery preferred; Snowflake or Synapse equivalent), medallion architecture, ELT/ETL, and orchestration (Airflow/Composer, dbt/Dataform). Dimensional modeling (star schema, DIM/FACT), OBT, and domain-specific MARTS design. **Data Governance:** Catalog, lineage, quality, MDM, and privacy (Law 21\.719 or GDPR). **Applied AI:** Machine learning, LLMs, RAG, and agents; build-vs.-buy decision criteria. Advanced SQL and Python (desirable). Portfolio management, vendor management, and agile methodologies. Intermediate-to-advanced English. We build it together!
