




Job Summary: We are seeking a Business Development Representative at Fintoc to prospect and build the sales pipeline, establishing long-term relationships with potential customers in the payments ecosystem. As a **Business** **Development Representative**, you’ll have the opportunity to witness firsthand how the payments ecosystem in Chile and Mexico is being orchestrated across various stakeholders, where you’ll be responsible for prospecting and building Fintoc’s pipeline. **As a Business Development Representative** -------------------------------------------- * Research and identify potential customers; contact them via direct calls and email to initiate the sales and qualification process. This includes both *inbound* and *outbound* channels. * Conduct high-level *discovery* conversations, building long-term, close relationships with potential customers until they become qualified opportunities. * Work with Marketing and the entire Sales team to ensure our strategy remains aligned, supporting and promoting improvements to lead-generation campaigns. * Keep CRM information up to date, maintaining a clear record of how the customer relationship has progressed. * Hand over qualified customer information to the Account Executives team, who will handle closing the deal — ensuring the transition is as smooth as possible for the customer. **What We Expect From You:** -------------------- * Energy and skills to reach out through various channels, active listening ability, and excellent spelling. Contact with customers won’t be remote-only; we expect you to demonstrate confidence in face-to-face meetings and show assurance when explaining Fintoc’s products and services. Note that a significant portion of our sales are *Enterprise*, requiring collaboration with large companies. * Determination and resilience — don’t give up easily. Show drive and motivation to grow rapidly. * Strong interest in Chile’s Fintech ecosystem. * Fluent written and spoken English communication skills — bilingualism isn’t required, but you must be able to hold both business and social conversations comfortably. * Prior experience in Fintech, Tech, or Sales Development is a plus. **Selection Process** ------------------------ * Interview with Jope from the People team. * In-person technical interview at our offices. * Interview with Felipe, Head of Sales. * Finally, the most enjoyable part: coffee with the team. * **We operate with flexible in-office work; for this role, you must be based in Santiago de Chile.**
