We are looking for a committed and empathetic People Assistant to join our People team at an established company in the hotel services sector. You will be responsible for supporting the operational management of the People area, maintaining close communication with staff, and ensuring compliance with administrative and labor processes.
**Main Responsibilities**
**Staff Support and Engagement**
* Attend to and guide internal staff, providing support for inquiries and People-related procedures.
* Provide administrative support throughout the full employee lifecycle.
* Collaborate in People department activities and initiatives, contributing to a positive work environment and continuous improvement.
* Responsible for managing the hiring, administration, and daily payroll of temporary staff, ensuring compliance with Chilean labor legislation and internal procedures.
**Attendance and Shift Management**
* Manage attendance and rotating shift processes.
* Prepare and submit overtime reports to the Compensation department.
* Generate attendance reports and analyses.
**Contractual and Document Management**
* Draft and manage employment contracts and annexes.
* Process medical leaves and coordinate documentation with external entities.
**Regulatory and Labor Compliance**
* Assist in appearances before the Labor Inspection Authority.
* Draft termination letters and contract renewals.
**Requirements**
* Technical or university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field *(mandatory)*.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles.
* Knowledge of Chilean labor legislation and HR administrative processes.
* Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
* Experience with attendance management systems and HR ERP systems (e.g., Talana, Buk, or others).
* Use of AI in HR Processes.
* Interpersonal skills, empathy, and ability to handle situations assertively.
