Finning, a strategic partner of CATERPILLAR and a leader in equipment distribution and services, is searching for top talent to fulfill the role of **Shovel Maintenance Engineer for the Collahuasi Contract**, who will be responsible for leading and controlling the execution of maintenance engineering processes for fleets according to company standards (M.O.M. Model), resulting in plans, programs, and guidelines aimed at optimizing equipment reliability, maintainability, condition monitoring, costs, safety, availability, and productivity of fleets under contractual agreement between Finning and its client. **Key Responsibilities:** * Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures, and standards. * Analyze and manage technical information from the manufacturer, support departments, and customers, evaluating its applicability to the contracted fleet. * Develop recommendations and action plans to optimize equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability. * Manage the maintenance backlog, establishing priorities, monitoring KPIs, and tracking defined action plans. * Participate in weekly, bi-weekly, and long-term maintenance planning and scheduling, ensuring inclusion of campaigns, improvements, and critical activities. * Analyze trends, operational conditions, and equipment data to identify risks, improvement opportunities, and potential failures. * Manage condition monitoring, defining preventive and corrective actions based on analysis of technical and operational information. * Maintain up-to-date information regarding component status, remaining useful life projections, and maintenance strategies. * Participate in developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing equipment reliability and maintenance process efficiency. * Prepare technical reports and management KPIs, communicating results, progress, and improvement opportunities to involved departments and clients as appropriate. * Coordinate with planning, operations, and support departments to implement maintenance strategies and actions. **Application Requirements:** * Professional degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * Experience in mining equipment maintenance and condition monitoring strategies. * Knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling, backlog management, and asset management. * Proficiency in failure and reliability analysis tools (AFA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, root cause analysis). * Proficiency in SAP, AMT, SIS, CAT Inspect, and advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Experience in data analysis, management indicators (KPIs), and preparation of technical reports.
