




Position Summary: Supervise and manage the maintenance and operation of HVAC systems for events, ensuring comfortable and safe environments. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead technical teams in event setup and teardown. 2. Manage preventive and corrective HVAC maintenance. 3. Ensure compliance with technical regulations and standards. We are seeking an HVAC Supervisor for Espacio Riesco, part of the GL events group. **Responsibilities**: Supervise HVAC maintenance, operation, and operational requirements. Supervise internal and subcontracted teams during event setup, execution, and teardown, providing support in identifying and resolving issues, with the objective of delivering a climate-controlled, comfortable, and safe environment for event participants. * Supervise project execution and inspect spaces, materials, and equipment to be used in event setup. * Implement monthly/annual preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans for HVAC equipment and installations. * Manage necessary resources for HVAC maintenance, including personnel, materials, tools, and equipment. * Prepare technical reports and documentation related to maintenance activities, including incident reports, calibration plans, etc. * Ensure compliance with applicable technical regulations and standards for HVAC installations. * Supervise technical teams (internal and external) during event setup and teardown, providing guidance to ensure all work is carried out according to the project plan. * Actively participate in the installation of HVAC and/or air conditioning systems, and perform technician-level tasks when required. * Supervise service providers’ performance, verifying contract compliance to ensure the quality standards required by the company. * Conduct technical inspections before and during events to ensure proper operation of HVAC and/or air conditioning systems. * Supervise HVAC and/or air conditioning system operation to ensure compliance with project specifications. * Identify non-conformities in HVAC and/or air conditioning systems and equipment, request repairs or replacements to resolve issues and ensure proper operation during events. * Inspect HVAC and/or air conditioning equipment before and after events, verifying damage or missing items. * Issue pre- and post-event reports describing any incidents. * Support the Planner in feasibility studies aimed at reducing HVAC project costs. * Act as an intermediary between the client and external support teams. * Interact with clients, answering questions, explaining and clarifying operational matters, and seeking optimal solutions to meet their needs. * Cover shifts as required by operational needs. * Supervise the project execution schedule to ensure adherence to the estimated delivery date. * Conduct pre- and post-event compliance/quality checklists. * Supervise the preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedule for HVAC and air conditioning equipment. * Supervise the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and compliance with Occupational Safety regulations. * Perform other duties related to the area of specialization.
