At Essity, we are seeking a Production Operator responsible for contributing to achieving optimal results in the manufacturing of hygiene products or towels, according to predefined standards, delivering finished products of excellent quality and without defects, while fulfilling the objective of zero accidents during production. We are located in Santiago de Chile, in the commune of Lampa, Metropolitan Region, and in this role, collaborative work with various production departments is expected. We provide shuttle buses to certain communes (Lampa, Batuco, Quilicura, Puente Alto, Maipú, Mapocho). This is an on-site position with rotating 6x1 shifts: * Morning shift: 7:00 – 15:00 Monday to Friday / Saturday 7:00 – 12:00 * Afternoon shift: 15:00 – 23:00 Monday to Friday * Night shift: 00:00 – 7:00 Monday / 23:00 – 07:00 Tuesday to Saturday **Note: For the night shift from Tuesday to Saturday, entry is at 23:00 hrs. the previous day.** You can find more information about our company, brands, corporate culture, and career opportunities at www.essity.com We are looking for people who embody our values—those unafraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace. If this role resonates with you, we would love to speak with you. **Job Responsibilities** * Adhere to and promote safety practices during operations. * Maintain order and cleanliness on the production line. * Operate conversion machinery (napkin folders, rewinders, packers, cartoners, and/or tube formers). * Execute process controls: CIL, self-checks, and Centerlines. * Ensure availability of materials to maintain uninterrupted machine operation. * Participate in autonomous maintenance and scheduled activities. * Record and report production parameters per shift. * Support non-conforming product and waste management. **Who You Are** * Technical secondary education specializing in Automotive Mechanics, Electricity, Industrial Mechanics, Automation, or related field. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in production lines. * Experience operating conversion machinery (desirable). * Knowledge of TPM (desirable). **What We Offer You** Our purpose—Breaking Barriers for Well-being—gives meaning to everything we do.
