Finning, a strategic partner of CATERPILLAR and a leader in equipment distribution and services, is searching for top talent to fill the role of **Operations Manager**, who will be responsible for directing and supervising fleet equipment maintenance operations to ensure compliance with corrective and preventive maintenance plans, optimizing human and financial resource utilization, contributing to customer satisfaction, and aligning with defined KPIs, contractual specifications, and Finning policies. **Primary Job Responsibilities:** * Maintain ongoing interaction with Field Planners to correct and report daily progress on Gantt charts. * Implement process and procedure improvement plans applicable to equipment repairs and assembly. * Coordinate technically with Shift Supervisors. * Support the Project Manager on various administrative matters, such as operational controls. * Ensure all personnel under supervision possess the required competencies, training courses, and certifications to perform assigned tasks. * Ensure availability and validity of certifications for all field resources, tools, and equipment, guaranteeing proper operability and regulatory compliance. * Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, promoting integration and teamwork to efficiently achieve organizational objectives. * Responsible for compliance with Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards and procedures. * Identify, assess, and keep updated the Critical Risks applicable to the area. * Participate in developing Finning’s safety plans and programs. * Participate in project preparation stages, contributing to planning, scope definition, resource estimation, and risk analysis. * Provide technical advice to the Project Manager and Field Planners regarding identification, assessment, and control of operational risks associated with planned tasks, considering risk inventories. **Application Requirements:** * Preferably a Bachelor of Engineering / Civil Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Industrial Engineering. * Minimum 10 years’ experience in industrial or major maintenance operations within mining, with at least 5 years in leadership roles. * MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at user level – MS Project (for viewing and managing Gantt charts) – Technical drawing interpretation. * Proficiency in SIS 2\.0 (internal application). * Advanced proficiency in manufacturer technical manuals and equipment repair/maintenance procedures.
