Job Summary: Finning is seeking a Senior (Advanced) Technician to evaluate and supervise the maintenance of Caterpillar equipment and/or components, managing resources to achieve objectives. Finning, a strategic partner of CATERPILLAR and leader in equipment distribution and services, is looking for top talent to fulfill the role of **Senior (Advanced) Technician**. **Job Description Summary:** Will be responsible for evaluating and supervising various processes related to equipment and/or component maintenance. Provides timely information and resources to meet established programs, ensuring proper administration of assigned resources in accordance with existing policies, thereby achieving unit objectives. **Main Job Responsibilities:** * Supervises and ensures compliance with each planned maintenance, repair, and/or evaluation process, directly instructing the team. * Diagnoses, evaluates, and generates work orders using Caterpillar technical and administrative software. * Analyzes written materials such as service manuals, parts manuals, and mechanical and maintenance forms. * Performs repairs across the general product line and provides repair recommendations. * Performs testing, adjustments, and fault diagnosis in the field and workshop. * In the absence of the workshop, field, or PM supervisor, assumes assigned activities delegated by the Operations Manager. **Requirements:*** Technical professional graduate from an Institute or University, specializing in automotive mechanics, electronics, or electricity. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance of mining-sector equipment. * Willingness to work on a rotating 7x7 shift schedule, day and night. * Must possess health compatible with performance at high geographical altitude.
