Located in the heart of Santiago, our office connects global expertise with world-class mining projects. **Job Description** ------------------------- **Closing Date:** June 07, 2026 Reporting to the Global Mobility Manager, the **Global Mobility Advisor – LATAM** acts as the single point of contact for assignees and international transfers from LATAM offices. This role is responsible for end-to-end administration and coordination of mobility support, including relocation and moving services, assignment support, and immigration and tax support. This includes assisting and overseeing the execution of all relocation activities before and during international assignments and transfers, as well as repatriation processes, as applicable. The position is based in Santiago, Monday through Friday. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Be a courageous leader in safety; comply with and champion safety and environmental rules and procedures. * Provide local support regarding Teck’s international and national assignment policies (within Chile and within Peru), as well as Teck’s international and national relocation policies applicable to LATAM offices. * Guide and advise LATAM HR Business Partners and functional managers on all Global Mobility activities related to assignments and one-way transfers (transfers and new hires). * Coordinate overall planning for all Global Mobility support, including relocation and moving activities (e.g., destination services, personal and household goods shipment, temporary housing, etc.), as well as mobilization and demobilization planning for assignments, transfers, and one-way transfers in LATAM. * Support new LATAM assignees and employees in Global Mobility onboarding and orientation, as applicable. * Serve as the point of contact for new LATAM assignees (at the start, during, and upon completion of the international assignment) and for new LATAM employees receiving Global Mobility support (at the beginning of their employment relationship and upon arrival at their new place of hire). * Collaborate with Teck’s designated service provider in LATAM to support regional mobile employees, as applicable. * Support the entry and expiry of global assignment employee data for LATAM (assignments, allowances, and tax-related aspects) into Teck’s HRIS platform, and track confirmation of required approvals for such entries and expiries, as applicable. * Support the management and administration of information for LATAM mobile employees in Global Mobility documents and the HRIS platform, as applicable. * Assist in processing LATAM Global Mobility invoices for approval and payment, as applicable. * Generate periodic and ad hoc reports on specific Global Mobility metrics for LATAM, as applicable. * Provide administrative support and services to the Global Mobility Department at Teck’s Vancouver head office, as applicable. * Support the coordination of Global Mobility meetings and training sessions in LATAM, as applicable. **Requirements** -------------- * University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience preferred. We value both academic qualifications and practical experience; therefore, equivalent professional experience may be accepted in lieu of formal academic credentials. * Minimum 10 years of experience with a professional degree, or minimum 15 years of experience (with a higher technical degree) in Human Resources, with a focus on Global Mobility and International Human Resources. * Knowledge of theories and principles related to international relocation benefits and assignments. * Comprehensive technical understanding of Human Resources information systems. * Advanced computer skills (MS Office suite applications) and Human Resources Integrated Information Systems. * Practical experience or foundational knowledge of labor laws and benefits applicable in LATAM. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong customer service, attention to detail, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to act with high levels of integrity and confidentiality. * Functional knowledge of English language and understanding of the mining business will be considered an asset. **About Teck** At Teck, we value diversity.
