Finning, Caterpillar’s strategic partner and leader in equipment distribution and services, is searching for top talent to fill the role of **Senior Technician**. **Job Description Summary:** You will be responsible for evaluating and supervising various processes related to component repair, as well as providing timely information and resources required to meet established programs, while managing assigned resources in accordance with existing policies, thereby achieving CRC-established objectives. **Primary Job Responsibilities:** * Supervise and ensure compliance in every planned repair and/or evaluation process, ensuring that work execution adheres to Finning Chile S.A. and Caterpillar standards. * Diagnose and evaluate equipment using Caterpillar’s technical and administrative software. * Analyze written materials such as service manuals, parts catalogs, and mechanical and maintenance forms. * Ensure compliance with repair and customer satisfaction indicators. * Prepare and draft Technical Reports. * Perform repairs on various component lines and provide repair recommendations. * Direct work toward loss administration and control, ensuring personnel safety and environmental protection. * Conduct tests, adjustments, and fault diagnosis in the workshop. * Analyze requirements for equipment and workshop tool renewal and repair. * Supervise and actively participate in activities related to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) management, ensuring compliance with the Risk Prevention and Sustainable Management Policy. **Requirements:** * Technical professional graduate from an Institute or University, specializing in automotive mechanics, electronics, or electricity; or a Bachelor of Engineering. * Minimum of **5 to 7 years’ experience in mining equipment maintenance**. * Willingness to work on a **rotating 7x7 day-and-night shift system**. * Good health compatible with job performance.
