Learn more at www.lundinmining.com. **Job Description** ------------------------- Execute, analyze, and develop technical studies and engineering evaluations to define, compare, and support the Superintendency’s strategic and tactical decisions—performing modeling, calculations, trend analysis, feasibility studies, techno-economic evaluations, field data collection, and preparation of specialized reports—ensuring data quality and consistency, regulatory compliance, and alignment with corporate objectives. All this to deliver rigorous technical support for decision-making, optimize project and process performance, and ensure the Company’s operational sustainability. **Key Responsibilities \| Activities** ------------------------------------------------ 1\) Prepare technical studies, modeling, calculations, and sensitivity analyses to support engineering decisions. 2\) Evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of initiatives and projects, comparing alternatives and scenarios. 3\) Analyze trends, operational data, and historical results to generate optimization proposals. 4\) Prepare technical reports, calculation memoranda, executive reports, and related documentation. 5\) Consolidate information from Operations, Maintenance, Energy, and Projects to support analyses. 6\) Review data quality, integrity, and traceability in accordance with ISO 9001\. 7\) Conduct field surveys following safety protocols, reporting unsafe acts or conditions. 8\) Assess environmental variables and risks associated with studies and other area processes. 9\) Promote inclusive practices and equal treatment in technical interactions, per the Company’s internal policies.**Education, Experience and Other Requirements** --------------------------------------------- 1\) Minimum 8 years’ experience in technical studies, engineering analysis, modeling, project evaluation, or related areas in mining or equivalent industries. 2\) University degree in Civil Engineering or Industrial Civil Engineering. 3\) Engineering studies and techno-economic evaluations. 4\) Process modeling, calculations, projections, and benchmarking. 5\) Applied statistics, data analysis, evaluation methodologies, and optimization. 6\) Management systems. 7\) Preparation of technical reports and executive reports. 8\) Tools: Advanced Excel, Power BI, discipline-specific modeling software, SAP, and document management platforms. 9\) Knowledge of the various engineering phases (conceptual, basic, detailed, etc.).
