This contributes to maximizing asset performance and operational excellence, ensuring business continuity and compliance with quality, personnel safety, facility safety, and environmental protection standards, while adhering to and enforcing Division- and Corporation-wide policies, standards, and procedures related to safety, occupational health, the environment, and diversity and inclusion. **Because here your talents will serve Chile!** **Job Responsibilities:** * Monitor and operate production equipment, inspecting and verifying on-site the operational conditions of equipment, production processes, instruments, and plant process facilities where assigned. * Operate on-site support processes related to water and tailings, verifying the status of these variables and executing necessary actions to maintain normal operational conditions. * Verify that third-party support services for production comply with entry procedures for controlled or restricted access areas, safeguarding operational continuity and facility integrity under the Division’s defined safety standards. * Report aspects related to consumption of supplies and services within the area, detecting and requesting corrective maintenance as needed. * Record, consolidate, and timely report shift-related updates, plant process operations, and performance standards where assigned. * Detect failures in plant and maintenance equipment, stopping them in case of emergencies or operational needs that could cause damage, and promptly informing the supervisor. * Adjust operational variables based on field observations or requests from supervisors, proposing and participating in continuous improvement of processes, procedures, and work methods. * Maintain constant on-site communication with maintenance personnel to ensure asset maximization and care. * Comply with and enforce quality, safety, and environmental standards. * Detect, report, and correct deviations from tailings facility conditions. **Application Requirements** * Must hold at least an Industrial Technician and/or Higher Education degree in any of the following specialties: Metallurgy, Mining, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Control and Automation, or related disciplines aligned with the job functions and purpose. * Minimum of two years’ experience in industrial plant operations. * Valid Class B driver’s license. * Physical and mental fitness compatible with the job requirements. **Desirable Qualifications** * Professional engineering degree. * Valid Class D driver’s license. * Courses and/or diplomas related to the job responsibilities. * Proven experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) at user level. * Demonstrable experience using preventive safety tools and risk management practices. **Offered Conditions:** * Contract Type: Indefinite-term. * Contractual Position: Qualified Plant Operator. * Work Location: Concentrator and Crushing Plant, Andina Division. * Work Shift: 4x4. * Number of Vacancies: 03\. **Application Deadline: Wednesday, 1 July 2026** Application Closing Time: 23:59 hrs. “I hereby declare that I am aware of the conditions, per Codelco regulations, that may constitute incompatibility for holding the position to which I am applying and, consequently, affect my continuation in the selection process.
