The selected candidate will be responsible for controlling the concentrator plant and/or tailings operations to support equipment operational continuity and water supply to the plant, as well as detecting and reporting failures and contingencies. **Key Responsibilities:** -------------------------------------------- * Monitor and operate primary crushing, pebble crushers, scalping, Phase 3, SAG and conventional grinding, flotation, filters, and concentrate thickeners from the control room via CCTV and in continuous communication with field operators. Verify instrumentation sensor functionality. Take corrective actions to address deviations, report findings, and coordinate tasks with other areas such as raw material receipt, permit verification, and safety conditions. * Operate and monitor tailings thickeners, pump trains, hydraulic interconnections, pumping stations, as well as water conveyance, distribution, recovery, and tailings systems. * Provide support for activities assigned by supervisors, including shift replacements, entering work orders (WOs), creating consumption vouchers in SAP, generating daily reports, and entering equipment downtime causes into the RMES system for respective areas, among others. * Conduct preventive equipment lockout tests from the control room in coordination with field operators and maintenance, electrical, and instrumentation personnel, among others.
