The selected candidate will be responsible for controlling the concentrator plant and/or tailings operations to support equipment operational continuity and water supply to the plant, as well as detecting and reporting failures and contingencies. **Key Responsibilities:** -------------------------------------------- * Monitor and operate primary crushing, pebble crushers, scalping, Phase 3, SAG and conventional grinding, flotation, filters, and concentrate thickeners from the control room via CCTV and in continuous communication with field operators. Verify instrumentation sensor functionality. Take corrective actions to address deviations, report findings, and coordinate tasks with other areas such as raw material receipt, permit verification, and safety conditions. * Operate and monitor tailings thickeners, pump trains, hydraulic interconnections, pumping stations, as well as water conveyance, distribution, recovery, and tailings systems. * Provide support for activities assigned by supervisors, including shift replacements, entering work orders (WOs), creating consumption vouchers in SAP, generating daily reports, and entering equipment downtime causes into the RMES system for respective areas, among others. * Conduct preventive equipment lockout tests from the control room in coordination with field operators and maintenance, electrical, and instrumentation personnel, among others. In emergencies, coordinate evacuation to safe zones. * Receive shift start and end reports to issue operational reports, findings, and updates. * Comply with all legal and regulatory competencies and training requirements for the position for which the candidate is hired. * Perform all role-related activities in accordance with RMMS Management System guidelines: Health & Safety, Business, Governance, Environment, and Social Aspects. * Perform all job-related activities in alignment with occupational health and safety policies, standards, and procedures, considering associated risks and protective measures. * Stay informed and maintain conduct aligned with anti-corruption, ethics, code of conduct, human rights, diversity and inclusion, and workplace and sexual harassment policies. **What Requirements Must You Meet?** ---------------------------------- * Technical or Engineering degree in disciplines related to mining processes. * Minimum 3 years of experience in similar control room positions. * Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency. * Basic SAP knowledge; familiarity with other management systems is desirable. * Experience with RMES or other information management systems such as PI System, SAP, Power BI. * Knowledge of process control logic and methodologies for plant and/or tailings process variables. * Class B driver's license. * Availability to work rotating 4x4 shifts. **All our job postings comply with Law No. 21,015, which promotes labor inclusion of persons with disabilities.** We are committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible workplace.
