Job Description Summary You will be responsible for supervising the execution of equipment maintenance programs and plans, as well as unplanned work, in the site workshop, ensuring compliance with maintenance and repair actions under the contract; identifying human and material resource needs; implementing actions responsive to operational variability; adhering to company standards; ensuring compliance with technical and administrative procedures; contributing to AOP achievement; and optimizing utilization of assigned resources. Key responsibilities include: - Prioritizing maintenance tasks due during the shift, coordinating with the Mine Shift Supervisor (Client) and Finning Operations Manager. - Assigning tasks to team members according to required skills and knowledge to ensure safe and efficient plan execution. - Securing resources needed for task execution, such as spare parts, repairs, materials support, and tools. - Monitoring workers during task execution to identify and promptly eliminate obstacles, and ensuring maintenance procedures are performed per factory and FCSA specifications. - Conducting safety talks. - Reviewing procedures and risk assessments with team members. - Evaluating and providing feedback on team and individual performance. - Recommending training, salary adjustments, and promotions. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical (Electronic) Engineering, with 5 years’ experience working on mining equipment, including people management and equipment maintenance responsibilities. - University-level Technical Diploma with 10 years’ experience in mining equipment maintenance. - Knowledge of CAT repair procedures. - Class B driver’s license for operation within the mine. - Residence in Antofagasta.
