Delegate tasks to assistants and coordinate activities—all in accordance with company-established standards for projects covering operations, quality, health, and safety. **Responsibilities:** * Person performing all tasks and activities inherent to a hydraulic push sounding operation, as directed by the shift supervisor on site. * Responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing CPT sounding campaigns, associated tests, and deployment of vehicles carrying the push rig. * Serve as the point of contact for clients/ITO regarding technical parameters and requests related to CPT tests. * Responsible for data acquisition quality during push-rig-based tests: CPT, Seismic Down-Hole, Electrical Conductivity, Vane Shear, Sampling (Direct Push and MOSTAP), and others. * Ensure quality and care during testing; coordinate samples taken for control, marking, and parameters deemed important—from sampling through laboratory delivery. * Perform cleaning, identification, transportation, preservation, and delivery of materials, instruments, and tools related to the equipment. * Occasionally perform earthmoving and manual excavation work using shovels and picks. * Role is critically important, as safe guidance of rod movements and other CPT-specific equipment operations rests entirely upon this person. May occasionally manipulate rod movements and other functions to carry out CPT tests. * Apply penetration test regulations, exercise sound judgment, and advise clients to optimize test outcomes. * Operate light vehicles, always with prior authorization. * Promptly report operational deviations, accidents, or incidents to immediate supervisors. * Coordinate with clients and their supervision regarding CPT equipment transportation and planning; actively contribute to improving field performance. * Explain physical and mechanical principles underlying planned tests. * Verify calibration status and maintenance condition of equipment and instruments. Review instruments and working equipment in advance and as part of prior planning to ensure optimal functionality; understand their operation, handling, and care requirements. * Communicate work procedures and activity planning—by project, shift, or daily—with the team. * Safeguard and protect equipment. * Prepare technical progress and test result reports for tests conducted during the operation and/or project. * Ensure acquired information is promptly and properly backed up according to the company’s standardized digitalization workflow. * Inform direct supervision in advance about planned activities if tools, equipment, or materials are missing, to prevent operational stoppages. * Report defects, failures, unsafe or substandard conditions in tools or facilities to direct or indirect supervisors—conditions that may cause injury to personnel or damage to equipment and facilities. * Actively participate in ART/AST verification before each work shift, and verify checklists generated with support from operators and assistants. Report deviations and request corrections from the Operations Department. * Comply with the Internal Regulations on Order, Hygiene, and Safety. * Must wear and enforce mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for oneself and supervisees. * Maintain order and cleanliness of facilities using available resources. * Actively participate in current Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental topics both within the company and at client sites, to prevent accidents, injuries, and negative environmental impacts, and comply with local regulations.
