Focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement **Job Description** ---------------------- Sierra Gorda SCM is currently seeking a PLANT MAINTENANCE SHIFT SUPERVISOR to perform the following responsibilities: Lead, coordinate, and verify the execution of maintenance work on plant area equipment to achieve operational availability and continuity of the production process, within defined quality, safety, and environmental standards. * Assign necessary resources for maintenance work execution. * Coordinate with other departments regarding required interactions and resources for maintenance activities. * Apply safety standards, material risk controls, and critical controls. * Achieve minimum execution times for maintenance tasks while ensuring maintenance depth and quality. * Develop work procedures for the area. * Verify execution of weekly maintenance plans and plant shutdowns. * Submit daily reports on executed work (planned and emergent) performed on equipment. * Manage human and material resources allocated by SGSCM under company regulations and agreements. * Operationally manage assigned contracts, ensuring proper technical, administrative, and/or financial execution, and timely management of deviations, risks, and contractual obligations, in accordance with company standards, regulations, and procedures. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Completed degree in Execution or Civil Engineering, specializing in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. * Knowledge of lubrication, blueprint reading, and hydraulics. * Knowledge of condition monitoring and maintenance planning. * Experience in similar roles within maintenance areas of mining plant operations. * 5–6 years of professional experience, including 2–3 years in this position. * Class B driver's license.
