Join a team that values professional development and diversity. **Job Description** ---------------------- Sierra Gorda SCM is seeking an Operational Reliability Engineer responsible for: Evaluating and participating in the analysis, identification, and proposal of improvements to operational processes, to implement improvement initiatives and/or plans for key plant equipment, thereby contributing to achieving established production objectives while maximizing operational availability and reliability. Key Responsibilities: * Evaluate and verify variables and indicators associated with critical production processes in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. * Review and analyze operational and process variables related to assets under their responsibility. * Prepare “Failure Analyses” using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques and drive implementation of recommended actions for frequent and/or catastrophic failures. * Draft capital investment project requirements (CAPEX). * Improve component performance and lifecycle. * Review maintenance plans. * Wear projections. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or related field. * Knowledge of JDE or equivalent CMMS system, and failure analysis methodology (RCA). * Familiarity with reliability improvement or assurance techniques such as RCM, FMECA, and FMEA. * Knowledge of administration, project management, and statistical analysis. * 4–5 years of professional experience. * 2–3 years of experience in this role. * Experience applying failure analysis methodologies and statistical analysis. * Experience in maintenance of mineral processing plants. * Basic English proficiency. * Availability to work rotating shifts (4x3).
