Supporting mining customer. **Job Description** ------------------- * **Primary Function:** Execute installation, maintenance, and repair of radio communication systems, delivering high-quality customer service and responding promptly and in accordance with established timelines and deadlines. **Functions and Responsibilities:** + **Leadership and Operational Supervision:** Lead and coordinate work performed by field maintenance technicians to ensure compliance with service-level requirements stipulated in contracts, especially with mining-sector customers. + **Critical Infrastructure Maintenance:** Perform and inspect installation, repair, and maintenance (preventive, corrective, and backup) activities on mobile and portable terminals, Cenco systems, CIPOL systems, GPS devices, and repeater sites, ensuring operational continuity and high availability of the radio communication system under stringent quality standards. + **On-Site Incident Resolution:** Respond promptly to customer sites to diagnose and resolve faults detected in communication equipment, coordinating dispatch to technical service in the Metropolitan Region for devices exhibiting major failures, within agreed contractual timeframes. + **Inventory and Asset Management:** Rigorously monitor, update, and control the inventory, status, and quantity of radio communication units deployed under rental agreements across various customers. + **Traceability and Digital Recordkeeping:** Meticulously record each incident, request, and technical activity performed by in-house or subcontracted personnel via systems such as SGT\-Remedy or other corporate applications, to feed departmental statistics and maintain project documentation control.**\#LI\-PL1** **Basic Requirements** ---------------------- * **Academic Qualifications:** Graduates holding degrees in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Telecommunications. * **Work Experience:** Minimum 2 years of experience performing technical maintenance and infrastructure support for communication systems. * **Radio Communication Knowledge:** Proficiency in telecommunications systems, maintenance networks, and advanced technology platforms such as the Astro 25\ system. * **Industrial Experience:** Operational or technical experience within the mining sector. * **Field Logistics and Operations:** Ability to operate light vehicles (e.g., pickup trucks) under strict safety, quality, and environmental regulations, including willingness to support operational continuity activities such as fuel supply if directed by immediate supervisors. **Travel Requirements** ----------------------- Over 50% **Relocation Provided** ----------------------- None **Position Type** ----------------- Experienced **Referral Payment Plan** ------------------------- Yes ***EEO Statement*** Motorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
