Job Description **Purpose:** This role is designed to support a multi-country Discovery center, covering support and leadership across the Andean Center, including Peru, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, and other potential new country entries. The role will lead the team responsible for all administrative and logistical matters, including coordination with internal stakeholders (Supply Chain, Accounting, Compliance, etc.) of the businesses in Peru and Chile, ensuring all our projects and programs are adequately supported and delivered on time and within budget. In countries without an existing business or relevant commercial partners, this role will lead the team responsible for full administration, compliance, accounting, finance, legal contractors, and human resources, coordinated with Group-level commercial partners. Represent AA to external stakeholders when the DM is not in-country, including public officials and third parties. Ensure all work performed is properly documented, complies with AA standards, and is auditable. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead end-to-end administrative and logistical support management for the Andean hub **,** ensuring correct execution of projects and programs on time, to specification, and within budget. * Supervise procurement, tendering, and contracting processes for goods and services **,** ensuring compliance with technical, financial, safety, and company Code of Conduct requirements. * Coordinate and ensure logistical management of operations, travel, meetings, personnel mobilization, equipment, and materials **,** safeguarding business activity continuity and timeliness. * Supervise asset management, inventory, insurance, and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and fleet **,** protecting resource integrity and traceability for operational and audit purposes. * Lead coordination of customs procedures and import/export of equipment and materials **,** acting as liaison with specialized agents and third parties as required by business needs. * Ensure proper administration of human resources processes, including payroll control, time sheets, insurance, employment documentation, hiring/terminations, and compliance with internal procedures. * Develop, update, and supervise adherence to administrative and HR procedures **.** **,** safeguarding operational continuity and alignment with corporate standards. * Consolidate and control monthly and annual budgets for the area/operation **,** monitoring variances, proposing reallocations, and ensuring timely visibility for decision-making. * Supervise financial and accounting management **,** including monthly and annual reporting, cash flow, payments, reimbursements, expense reports, and compliance with internal and corporate processes. * Coordinate with Finance, Supply Chain, Compliance, Legal, Accounting, and other internal/external stakeholders **,** ensuring cross-functional support and timely execution of business requirements. * Implement and coordinate capital call processes, capital increases, and other financing needs **,** aligned with business and management requirements. * Represent the company to external parties as appropriate **,** including authorities, industry associations, auditors, contractors, communities, and other key third parties — especially in the absence of the Discovery Manager in-country. Requirements **Education:** * Professional degree in Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field. * Postgraduate studies in Administration or an MBA are desirable. **Experience:** * Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar roles, ideally in mining or mineral exploration. * Experience in procurement, contracts, logistics, and compliance processes. * Experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and cost control. **Other Requirements:** * Residence in the Metropolitan Region, with willingness to travel. * Medical requirements: fitness to work at high geographical altitude. * Advanced English language proficiency. * Shift system: 5x2.
