We consider inclusion and diversity fundamental to meeting present and future challenges.*** **At ARAUCO**, we are seeking graduates of Medium or Higher Technical programs to serve as **Laboratory Assistants** at **Bioforest.** **What will you do?** Support the execution of operational and technical activities in the plant health laboratory, contributing to sample processing, assay execution, monitoring and management of supplies, in compliance with quality, safety, and established protocols. **What do we expect from you?** * Prepare, receive, label, and condition samples for analysis and diagnosis. * Conduct basic assays under supervision (e.g., cultures, chemical or molecular assays). * Complete records, forms, reports, and databases according to the laboratory’s management standards. * Strictly follow the laboratory’s safety and biosafety protocols. * Properly use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Collaborate in the management and disposal of biological and chemical waste in accordance with regulations. * Prepare reagents, culture media, and solutions according to protocols. * Maintain and clean laboratory equipment (centrifuges, shakers, magnifying glasses, microscopes, etc.) in optimal working condition. * Organize, disinfect, and ensure availability of materials and components required for daily work. * Proactively request material replenishment and manage inventory. * Ensure availability of tools and materials for daily operations. **What do you need to apply?** * Academic background: Medium or Higher Technical qualification * Availability to work at Bioforest (mandatory) * 2–5 years of work experience as a Biotechnology Technician, Quality Control Technician, or Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory Technician. * Experience handling basic laboratory equipment **What do we offer you?** * Professional development and growth opportunities * An inclusive and consistently supportive work environment * Additional benefits and competitive compensation ***At ARAUCO, we work every day to develop renewable forest products that improve people’s lives—a mission that challenges us to build committed, enthusiastic, and creative teams.
