Knowledge of safety regulations and personal protective equipment SPECIALIST **Offer ID:** 80443 **Job:** Engineering / Other **Contract type:** Temporary **Schedule:** Full\-Time **Country:** Chile **EQUANS Chile (EQCL)** is seeking a **SPECIALIST** who complies with established procedures and whose primary function will be to execute assigned tasks related to maintenance and improvement of electrical substations and their associated infrastructure (buildings, fences, courtyards, gardens, etc.), using applications and systems validated by the client, with the objective of ensuring execution in accordance with quality standards and deadlines stipulated by the client, as well as procedural and safety protocols, at the electrical installations or infrastructure linked to the assigned tasks. **We invite all qualified candidates meeting the following requirements to apply for this vacancy:** **Profession / Education:** * Electrical or electronics technician or equivalent. **Knowledge:** * Proficiency in basic tools and equipment for work in medium- and high-voltage electrical substations (electrical measuring devices, SF6 equipment, etc.). * Inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance of substation protection and control system equipment. * Inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance of direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) switchboards. * Ability to read electromechanical and control diagrams. * Inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance of auxiliary systems, generator sets, switchboards, rectifiers, and power cables in electrical substations—from reactor to track rails. * Knowledge of minor civil works, painting, roof repairs, vegetation clearance in substations, and infrastructure adaptation. * Knowledge and experience in cleaning and organizing substation infrastructure. * Knowledge of safety regulations and personal protective equipment. **Experience:** * Minimum 3 years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance activities in medium- and high-voltage electrical substations. **Requirements:** * Availability to work rotating shifts and travel to substations in EFE’s Central Zone. * Willingness to participate in weekend and holiday on-call shifts (day-shift personnel). * Ability to attend all 17 substations covered under the contract, spanning from Santiago to Talca.
