Job Summary: We are seeking a Welder for our fleet maintenance workshop, responsible for performing welding, cutting, and joining of metal structures. Key Highlights: 1. At ***JCS Logistics and Transportation***, a company dedicated to forest cargo transportation, we are currently seeking a ***Welder*** to join the **fleet maintenance workshop** team at our base located in the ***Ciruelos, San José de La Mariquina*** sector. ***Main Responsibilities*** * Perform **welding, cutting, and joining of metal structures**, in accordance with technical and safety standards. * Fabricate, repair, and improve **metal structures of the fleet, equipment, and facilities**. * Inspect equipment and structures, identifying failures and supporting repairs both in the **workshop and on-site**. * Provide operational support to the workshop and other company workshops, as required. * Safeguard tools and materials, maintaining **order and cleanliness**, and requesting timely replenishment. ***Position Conditions*** * **Work Schedule:** 44 hours per week, Monday through Saturday. * **Contract Type:** Initial fixed-term contract, with possibility of renewal and subsequent indefinite contract. * **Benefits:** * Complementary health and life insurance. * Affiliation and partnerships for medical and social care for you and your family. * A **safe, respectful, and development-oriented** work environment. ***Candidate Requirements:*** * **Mandatory Qualification:** Valid welder qualification or certification. * **Experience:** Minimum of **2 years** in similar positions or related functions. * **Residence:** In communes or areas near the base (Mariquina, Lanco, Máfil, Valdivia, and surrounding areas). * **Compatible Health Status:** Physical and mental fitness appropriate to job requirements, considering workshop work and occasional on-site tasks. * **Availability:** Ideally immediate.
