About the Role
**CIPA Act Business and Professional Services** is seeking a **Data Quality Analyst** to join our team in **Villa Alemana, Valparaíso Region**.
The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and improving the quality of information used in our administrative and operational processes, ensuring that data is complete, consistent, up-to-date, and reliable.
You will work closely with **operations, technology, finance, administration, data analysis, and systems support** teams to identify errors, improve controls, and maintain appropriate information quality standards.
This position is ideal for professionals with experience in **data quality, information analysis, reporting, databases, or process control**, who possess strong attention to detail and enjoy investigating and resolving inconsistencies.
Your Impact on the Team
As a Data Quality Analyst, you will play an important role in ensuring the reliability of information used across various organizational departments.
Your work will help:
* Reduce errors and inconsistencies in databases.

Main Responsibilities
* Review databases and records to identify incorrect, incomplete, duplicate, or inconsistent information.
* Execute periodic data quality and integrity checks.
* Investigate root causes of errors and coordinate corrections with responsible teams.
* Maintain information validation rules, criteria, and procedures.
* Prepare data quality reports and metrics.
* Perform reconciliations across different systems and information sources.
* Identify duplicate records and support cleansing processes.
* Monitor proper loading, modification, and updating of information.
* Support data migration, integration, or cleansing initiatives.
* Document recurring errors and establish preventive mechanisms.
* Collaborate with internal users to improve information capture and recording.
* Maintain documentation related to data definitions, rules, and standards.
* Prepare trend analyses related to errors and information quality.
* Support internal audits and process reviews.
* Participate in initiatives to automate quality controls.
* Support development of dashboards and tracking reports.
* Identify opportunities to simplify processes and reduce manual tasks.
* Escalate critical information quality issues when necessary.
* Perform other duties related to data management and quality.
Requirements
* **2–4 years of experience** in data quality, data analysis, reporting, information control, or related areas.
* Prior experience as a **Data Quality Analyst, Data Analyst, Information Analyst**, or similar role.
* Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel**, including formulas, filters, pivot tables, and data validation.
* Experience working with large volumes of data.
* Knowledge of databases and information structures.
* Ability to identify patterns, errors, and discrepancies.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication and collaborative skills.
* Ability to clearly document processes and results.
Technical Skills Preferred

Desirable Qualifications
* Technical or professional degree in **Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems**, or a related field.
* Experience in **professional services, operations, finance, technology, commerce, or administration**.
* Experience using SQL for queries and validations.
* Knowledge of data management and governance methodologies.
* Experience creating KPIs for information quality.
* Familiarity with Power BI or other visualization tools.
* Experience in data cleaning, transformation, and standardization.
* Knowledge of ETL processes will be valued.
* Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
Equivalent work experience may be considered if the candidate demonstrates sufficient knowledge to effectively perform the job responsibilities.
