Reporting to the Production Planning Superintendent, the **Production Planning Manager** will be responsible for managing the development of the integrated mine-to-port production plan, aligning it with maintenance and production system requirements, and ensuring equipment productivity and operational continuity. Work location is the Integrated Operations Centre at our Santiago offices, on a 5x2 shift schedule, with site visits as required. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Be a courageous safety leader; comply with and champion safety and environmental rules and procedures. * Manage integrated short-term mining plans (monthly, weekly, and daily), defining the production schedule across the entire value chain for QB. * Administer and control proper risk identification and management during plan and process execution. * Generate alerts and track detected deviations, defining the corrective action plan. * Ensure compliance with environmental requirements and critical controls for key risks related to safety, health, environment, and community within the process, and recommend improvements to procedures. * Responsible for area management and reporting, providing updates, contingencies, and short-term projections. * Ensure delivery of integrated plans for the annual budget and weekly and daily production plans. * Communicate and coordinate with Marketing regarding concentrate grades included in the production plan. * Ensure distribution of plans is available to relevant departments. **Requirements** -------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in mining, metallurgy, geology, or industrial engineering. * Minimum 8 years of experience in production planning within mining. * Knowledge of mine and concentrator plant planning. * Proficiency in production planning software. * Minimum 3 years of team leadership experience in mining. * Availability to work at the Integrated Operations Centre in Santiago offices, on a 5x2 shift schedule, with site visits as required. **About Teck** At Teck, we value diversity.
