The role aims to guarantee safe, efficient, and optimized plant operation by monitoring generation processes in real time and leading the operational team from the control room. Key responsibilities: Monitor and control operational variables of the hydroelectric generation process. Remotely operate equipment and facilities. Make real-time operational decisions to ensure safe and efficient operation. Coordinate and lead Field Operators. Detect, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues. Manage generation levels according to available water flow and plant performance. Supervise compliance with regulations related to water rights and ecological flows. Coordinate with the Control Center and commercial areas to optimize operations. Prepare operational reports and manage information in management systems. Manage work permits and lockout conditions for maintenance. Maintain communication with stakeholders regarding operational events and alerts. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and asset management standards. Requirements: Technical or university degree in Electricity, Electronics, Mechanics, Instrumentation and Control, or related fields. Minimum 3 years of experience operating hydroelectric power plants (mandatory). Basic knowledge of hydraulics, electricity, and mechanics. Experience with process monitoring and control systems. SAP, management systems, and production software proficiency is desirable. Prior experience leading or coordinating operational teams (desirable).
