Our **Mainstream Management team is seeking a Technical Assistant – Quilicura.** The purpose of this role is to achieve customer recommendations through timely and efficient technical support. Provide technical support and on-site training to authorized service centers to resolve vehicle technical issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and reducing costs associated with customer resolution policies. Promote continuous improvement of our products based on failure findings and preparation of technical reports to provide visibility to our OEM. **What You’ll Do** * Address customer technical requests and execute necessary solutions to resolve complex technical issues on-site, utilizing all available resources to minimize vehicle dwell time at Inchcape Network Technical Services. * Conduct technical inspections within the framework of certification of our services to ensure compliance with the Inchcape standard. * Deliver technical training and upskilling during on-site visits to enhance the technical capability of our dealer network teams. * Manage effective communication channels with technician teams. * Ensure all factory warranty claims include required evidence and documentation as mandated by brands to increase our warranty cost recovery rates. * Generate clear and timely technical reports that accurately capture symptoms and diagnoses to drive continuous improvement and monitor failure rates. * Conduct training on new products and technologies for both commercial and aftersales teams. * Attend on-site locations to perform forensic-type technical inspections in cases requiring analysis of complex scenarios with potential customer legal actions. * Reinforce specialized technical assistance to fleet customers, as appropriate. * Support new unit preparation processes in the operations area whenever urgent execution of technical operations is required. * Deliver new product presentations and training sessions for sales teams, technician teams, and customer service staff. * Reinforce updates of technical information for our brands among dealers—including diagnostic equipment, maintenance plans, technical operations, and product knowledge. **About You** To succeed in this role, you will have: * Minimum 4 years of mechanical technical experience in the automotive industry. * Professional technical education in Mechanical Engineering or related fields. * Intermediate English proficiency. * Knowledge of electronics and diagnostic systems. * Teamwork ability, leadership, and strong communication skills. **Vacancy Information:** * **Legal Entity:** **Derco SPA.** * **Leader:** **Assistant Technical Manager** * **Work Location:** Quilicura. * **Work Mode:** On-site * **Working Hours:** Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:30; Friday 08:00–16:30 * **Cafeteria** * **Commuter Buses** **What We Offer** At Inchcape, we are building the future of mobility—and invite you to do it with us.
