Position Summary:
Finning is seeking an Operations Manager for the El Abra contract, responsible for directing and supervising fleet maintenance processes to ensure plan compliance and customer satisfaction.

Finning, a strategic partner of CATERPILLAR and leader in equipment distribution and services, is searching for top talent to fill the role of **Operations Manager for the El Abra contract**, who will be responsible for directing and supervising the fleet maintenance operations under the contract, ensuring compliance with corrective and preventive maintenance plans, optimizing the use of human and financial resources, contributing to customer satisfaction, and aligning with defined KPIs, contractual specifications, and Finning policies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Motivate personnel under supervision and foster their commitment to the company’s strategic initiatives.
* Coordinate and supervise the execution of equipment maintenance programs and plans, as well as work arising from unforeseen events.
* Coordinate requirements for internal and external labor and specialized tasks. Reconcile equipment downtime hours with the client.
* Supervise and actively participate in activities related to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) management. (Ref. PRO.HS.01\.02 Responsibility for Risk Prevention and Environmental Protection).
**Application Requirements:**
* University graduate, Civil or Industrial Engineer, preferably with a background in mechanical, industrial, or equivalent fields, with several years of experience in similar positions, including operational management expertise in Mining Services and in maintenance and repair processes for mobile mining equipment, leading multidisciplinary teams (minimum 5 years of experience).
* Proficient user-level knowledge of MS Office computer tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and of management and budgeting systems.
* Knowledge of represented equipment and machinery brands, and personnel administration.
* Familiarity with processes, systems, and management tools.
* Intermediate spoken and written English proficiency.
