Under Law No. 21.015, which promotes the employment of persons with disabilities in the labor market, Stantec invites you to join a sustainability leader by participating in the application process for the Permit Engineer position based in La Serena, responsible for: * Preparing sectoral permit applications, specializing in infrastructure, architecture, and sanitary engineering according to expertise. * Developing engineering projects for existing buildings to regularize corresponding permits. * Collecting and technically reviewing documentation required for projects and/or sectoral permits. * Conducting site visits to gather information needed for file preparation. * Drafting specific cover letters for the processing of sectoral permit applications. * Managing fee payments, file submissions, and presentations to various public agencies (SSPP). * Conducting facility surveys for clients to assess missing sectoral permits required for regularization, as well as preparing reports on substandard facility conditions. * Accompanying authorities during approval requests for permits, as required. * Regularly participating in coordination and technical meetings with the client’s Contract Administrator and supporting technical meetings with various authorities when requested. **Qualifications:** Requirements to apply for this position include: * Civil Engineer, Construction Engineer, or related degree. * Knowledge of sectoral permit management. * In-depth knowledge of current legal regulations governing permits. * Knowledge of evaluating and reviewing conceptual, basic, or detailed engineering designs to ensure correct file preparation. * Familiarity with current environmental regulatory information. * Availability for site visits. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office. **About Stantec:** We’re active members of the communities we serve.
