We seek a detail-oriented individual with technical rigor and commitment to quality and food safety. Main responsibilities: Perform microbiological analyses of raw materials, finished products, surfaces, environments, water, ice, and other monitoring programs. Conduct analyses according to validated methodologies, internal procedures, and current regulations. Prepare culture media, reagents, and materials required for laboratory operations. Manage sample receipt, identification, storage, and traceability. Maintain up-to-date technical records, results, and laboratory documentation. Timely issuance of microbiological reports and safeguarding of information for internal and external audits. Monitor laboratory supply inventory and coordinate timely replenishment. ### **Job Requirements** \- Degree in Medical Technology, Biochemistry, Food Engineering, University Technician in Laboratory, Food Technician, or related field. \- Minimum 2 years’ experience in microbiological laboratories, quality control, or food laboratories (preferred). \- Experience in microbiological analysis of food, water, and environmental monitoring. \- Knowledge of food microbiology, microbiological enumeration techniques, and pathogen detection. \- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, PAC, POS, and SERNAPESCA regulations. \- Knowledge of BAP, IFS, BRC, or equivalent standards is desirable. \- Proficiency in document management, sample traceability, and laboratory equipment. \- Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel. ### **Benefits**
