Job Summary: Responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on the Water Treatment Plant, ensuring compliance with scheduled activities and emergency response according to established standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operation of equipment and systems in water treatment plants 2. Adjustment of metallurgical parameters and operational control 3. Quality management and continuous improvement in the area You will be responsible for executing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for the Water Treatment Plant to ensure compliance with assigned maintenance activities and required emergency responses, utilizing resources in accordance with established technical standards and procedures. Responsibilities: Operate plant equipment and systems according to defined processes and frequencies. Adjust operational metallurgical parameters of equipment. Report material and supply requirements needed for plant operations. Monitor and record operational parameters of plant systems and equipment to ensure quality of each plant process in compliance with current legal regulations. Monitor and maintain particle size distribution and moisture percentage. Verify proper operation of battery feed pumps. Check tailings discharge, verifying pipeline fill level and continuous or intermittent discharge. Start up and shut down recovery and water transfer pumps. Carry out activities related to quality management and continuous improvement of the area. Requirements: Preferred residence in TALTAL or Copiapó. Completed secondary education; industrial technician qualification in metallurgical processes, electromechanics, or electrical engineering is desirable. Availability to work rotating 7x7 shifts (Day/Night). Mandatory prior experience working in osmosis plants.
