Participation in infrastructure projects and continuous improvement Senior Service Operations Engineer | IT Infrastructure Work Mode: On-site Employment Type: Indefinite-term contract Department: Technology, Infrastructure and Services About the Role We are looking for a Senior Service Operations Engineer to join a major bank in a high-criticality environment, participating in the administration, monitoring, and continuous improvement of technology infrastructure. The role requires experience in IT service operations, datacenter management, operating systems, and monitoring tools, with a focus on ensuring stability, security, and operational continuity. Responsibilities Administer monitoring tools, PAM, backups, and patching Administer Windows and Linux operating systems Develop server monitoring and patching plans Monitor IT infrastructure and communications (On-Premise and Cloud) Manage and maintain physical datacenters and technical rooms Supervise datacenter operators Manage incidents and technical service support Participate in infrastructure projects and continuous improvement initiatives Manage IT contracts and service-level indicators Administer technological asset inventory Coordinate and participate in audits Generate and maintain technical documentation Participate in change advisory boards and capacity planning Supervise physical and environmental datacenter security Mandatory Requirements Degree in Computer Engineering or related field +5 years of experience in technology production environments / IT infrastructure Experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux Experience in virtualization (VMware) Experience in datacenter operations Professional profile demonstrating responsibility, confidentiality, and ethics Desirable Requirements Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., WhatsUp Gold) Experience with PAM tools (e.g., CyberArk) Knowledge of backup solutions (Veritas, ISP, etc.) Knowledge of server patching Knowledge of storage and networking Experience in project management Intermediate English ITIL / ISO 45001 certifications. -Requirements- Minimum Education: University / Professional Institute / Technical Training Center Years of experience Keywords: engineers, ingeniera, ing, engineer, senior, sr, tecnologias, la, informacion, it
