Participation in technology projects and vendor management About the Position We are currently looking for an IT Operations Engineer to join a highly critical environment within the banking industry. The role aims to ensure operational continuity, stability, and efficiency of the technology infrastructure, actively participating in operations management, monitoring, support, and continuous improvement of both on-premise and cloud IT services. Key Responsibilities Administer monitoring tools, backups, patching, and privileged access management (PAM) Administer Windows and Linux operating systems Design and execute server monitoring and patching plans Monitor IT infrastructure and communications (on-premise and cloud) Manage incidents and ensure service operational continuity Propose and implement infrastructure and process improvements Administer and supervise physical data centers and technical rooms Coordinate and supervise data center operators Participate in internal and third-party technology projects Manage IT contracts and vendors Generate operational reports and KPIs Maintain an up-to-date inventory of technology assets Participate in audits and ensure regulatory compliance Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures Participate in change management committees Plan and manage infrastructure capacity Mandatory Requirements Degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT operations / infrastructure / operations areas Experience administering Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux Experience with virtualization (VMware) Experience managing incidents and providing production environment support Strong commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and best practices Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., WhatsUp Gold) Knowledge of PAM solutions (e.g., CyberArk) Experience with backup systems (Veritas, ISP, or others) Knowledge of server patching Knowledge of storage and networking Experience in data center environments and equipment supervision Knowledge of project management Intermediate English proficiency ITIL or ISO 45001 certification Key Competencies Results-oriented mindset and operational excellence Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Collaborative work and effective communication Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments Proactivity and focus on continuous improvement. -Requirements- Minimum Education: University / Professional Institute / Technical Training Center years of experience Willingness to travel: Yes Keywords: engineers, ingeniera, ing, engineer, senior, sr, tecnologias, la, informacion, it
