Our headquarters is located in Concepción, and we operate in Santiago as well. We are currently seeking an IT Project Manager with solid experience in managing complex technology projects. Job Description A professional responsible for the planning, execution, control, and monitoring of complex technology projects. Possesses leadership, organizational, communication, and management skills, along with in-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. Responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with defined objectives. Knowledge of the Forestry Business will be considered a plus. Main Responsibilities • Responsible for coordinating and leading the assigned project team, ensuring achievement of defined objectives according to schedule, scope, quality, and budget. If required, may be asked to lead multiple projects simultaneously. • Ensure proper and complete project documentation, using the Project Management Methodologies definitions as baseline. • Manage project information, its custody and safeguarding; furthermore, build and safeguard project-generated knowledge and incorporate it into the company’s knowledge base. • Develop and monitor project planning. • Identify and manage deviations. • Lead the analysis, management, and monitoring of project risks, proposing mitigation strategies. • Manage issues arising during the project lifecycle, including their handling, containment, and resolution. • Responsible for project quality, both for internal artifacts and deliverables. • Manage the project budget, verifying usage and issuing early alerts for potential deviations. • Lead effective communication among all project stakeholders. • Lead the assigned team assertively. • Prepare required management reports and status updates for clients or Genesys Management. • Participate in estimations for new initiatives. • Record daily activity reports. • Stay updated on the latest technological trends and advancements to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Requirements • Proven experience in IT project management. • Knowledge of project management methodologies (agile, traditional, or hybrid). • Leadership and multidisciplinary team management skills. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Analytical ability, problem-solving capability, and decision-making skills. • Forestry industry experience or knowledge is desirable.
