Job Summary: We are seeking an AI Engineer to build AI Agents in the insurance industry, designing and implementing technical architectures and maintaining knowledge repositories. Key Highlights: 1. Participation in AI initiatives within a challenging environment with real-world impact At SMS Sudamérica, we are looking for an AI Engineer profile to perform technical AI Agent development tasks and join our team at a major client in the insurance industry, with hybrid work modality (offices located in Santiago de Chile, Las Condes area). RESPONSIBILITIES Design and implement the squad's AI agents, working closely with the AI Lead / Tech Lead to define the technical architecture. Structure and maintain the knowledge repository: development standards, templates, technical decisions (ADRs), and project history in Confluence. Define and document AI governance standards: approved tools, validation criteria for agent outputs, and regulatory traceability (CMF, Law 21.719). Integrate AI agents with enterprise ecosystem tools (Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Jenkins, Dynatrace) via REST APIs. Support the AI Lead in building data pipelines and language models required for agent operation. PROFILE AND ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES Experience developing solutions using language models (LLMs) or AI agents. Knowledge of RAG architectures and knowledge repository management. Ability to integrate with REST APIs and development tools. Experience in technical documentation and AI solution governance. Ability to work in agile teams with short delivery cycles.
