Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to ensure operational continuity, perform installations and maintenance, and participate in energy projects, applying safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure operational continuity of assigned services and propose improvements. 2. Installation, preventive/corrective maintenance, and industrial automation. 3. Participation in energy projects such as solar panels and electromobility. We are looking for an Electrical Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the role, for a company in the energy generation sector. • SEC certification is desirable. Knowledge Requirements: • Service delivery. • Operational continuity. • Installation, configuration, and assembly of electrical systems. • Configuration of electrical networks and panels. • Basic office software proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). General Duties: • Ensure operational continuity of all assigned services and propose improvements thereto. • Installation and Assembly: Placement of electrical systems, including wiring, conduits, switchboards, and lighting equipment. • Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Periodic inspection and repair of faults in motors, circuits, and electrical machinery to ensure continuous operation. • Interpretation of schematics and technical manuals for project execution. • Industrial Automation: Implementation and maintenance of pneumatic, hydraulic, and programmable sequential control systems. • Diagnosis and Measurement: Use of measurement tools (voltmeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes) to diagnose voltage, current, and power faults. • Safety and Regulations: Strict application of safety protocols and current regulations (SEC in Chile) to guarantee safe installations. • Energy Projects: Participation in the installation of solar panels, electromobility systems, and distribution networks. Work Type: On-site. Work Location: Mejillones.
