Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Data Analyst to lead the data strategy, transform complex datasets into actionable information, and champion data-driven decision-making.
Key Highlights:
1. You will define the data strategy and be responsible for reports and data flows.
2. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translating data into clear insights.
3. You will have continuous professional development and career advancement.
About the Role: Antofagasta is renowned for its rich mining and industrial heritage, and at IJAOS Analytics \& Optimization SpA, we apply that same analytical rigor to digital data. We build enterprise-grade analytics solutions that convert complex datasets into clear, actionable information. We believe business intelligence need not be confusing. We seek a Data Analyst who can take ownership of our reports and data flows. You will not merely extract numbers; you will define the data strategy. You will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams, serving as a bridge between complex technical requirements and intuitive business dashboards. You are the advocate for data-driven decision-making in a room full of stakeholders.
Why Work With Us? The Environment: Our office is located in the vibrant heart of Antofagasta. We value a workplace that inspires productivity (think modern facilities, excellent lighting, and a collaborative team atmosphere). Data Maturity: We do not need convincing that data matters—we already know it. You will have a seat at the decision-making table from day one. Modern Tech Stack: We work exclusively with industry-standard tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, and Tableau. Growth: You will have opportunities for continuous professional development and career advancement to keep your skills current.
Key Responsibilities: Data Flow Ownership: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from diverse sources to identify key trends and patterns. Ensure data quality and consistency across all internal reporting systems. End-to-End Analysis: Lead the process from initial data discovery and exploratory analysis to the creation of interactive dashboards and automated reports. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable business recommendations for non-technical stakeholders, and partner with teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs). User Insights: Do not guess. Validate your assumptions with robust data analysis before business strategies are finalized. Stakeholder Management: Present your analytical findings to clients and internal management. You know how to explain the "why" behind the numbers—not just the metrics themselves.
What We’re Looking For: Experience: 1–3 years in a Data Analyst role or a similar analytical position. Portfolio / Track Record: A strong record demonstrating high-impact data projects. Show us the problem, the data process, and the business solution. Tools: Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau). Practical knowledge of Python or R is a strong plus. Language Skills: Spanish is required for client communication and report writing. English proficiency is an advantage for technical documentation. Mindset: You are pragmatic. You know when to dive deep into exploratory analysis and when to deliver practical insights quickly.
Salary: $1\.200\.000 \- $1\.800\.000 per month
