The main challenge will be analyzing the current business logic implemented in Oracle Service Bus and transforming it into new, robust, modular, and maintainable services. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Analyze and interpret legacy artifacts, integrations, and business logic. * Design and develop robust, scalable, and decoupled microservices. * Refactor existing components and migrate them to a modern architecture. * Integrate microservices with core systems and front-end channels. * Participate in technical definitions, best practices, and architectural decisions. * Ensure quality, maintainability, and performance of developed solutions. ### **Mandatory Requirements** * Advanced backend development experience with **Java**. * Experience working with **Java 21 LTS**. * Proficiency in **Spring Boot or Quarkus**. * Experience in designing and developing **microservices architectures**. * Hands-on experience with containers and deployments on **Kubernetes or OpenShift**. * Experience developing and integrating **RESTful APIs**. * Ability to analyze existing code and transform legacy logic into new solutions. ### **Desirable Knowledge** * Experience or knowledge of **Oracle Service Bus — OSB**. * Understanding of **WebLogic, XQuery, XSLT, and SOAP services**. * Familiarity with **TM Forum / Open APIs** standards. * Experience in migration, modernization, or technological transformation projects. * Knowledge of integration with core systems and multiple consumer channels. **Important:** Experience with **OSB is desirable but not mandatory**. What matters most is having a solid technical foundation and senior-level experience in Java and microservices. ### **Position Conditions** * Fixed-term contract tied to the project, initially planned for **9 months, with potential continuity with other clients or other Babel Global/LATAM projects.** * Hybrid work model with high on-site presence: + Initial phase: **4 days on-site and 1 day remote**. + Subsequently: **3 days on-site and 2 days remote**. + Full-time schedule (40 hours per week) ### **Profile We Seek** A technically autonomous individual with strong analytical capabilities and experience tackling complex development challenges.
