At Bechtel, our teams extract these vital resources to support net-zero emissions in a more sustainable way than ever before. **Job Summary:** ----------------------- This is a mid-level position, with the expectation that the selected candidate has already developed appropriate skills at this level. There will be opportunities to further learn and grow in this role. As such, the candidate will be responsible for assisting with the development, maintenance, and monitoring of the project schedule. They will also help ensure that the project’s full work scope is included in the plan, with appropriate sequencing and scheduling logic aligned with the Critical Path Method (CPM) methodology. Additionally, they will assist with resource loading and leveling as needed. A specific scope or “area” of the schedule may be assigned to the candidate, for which they will perform and be accountable for all tasks listed above. While this is a mid-level planning position, the candidate is expected to possess practical knowledge of EPC work processes and procedures related to successful project planning and execution. **Key Responsibilities:** ---------------------------------- * Assist with integrating the full scope of all functions, departments, and/or disciplines into the schedule. * Support resource loading into the schedule and resource leveling for control, as well as development of progress and workforce curves, sustained rates, etc., to demonstrate and ensure realism in planning. * Under the direction of the Project Scheduler Lead, develop, evaluate, and review durations for all scheduled activities per discipline and ensure they support project milestones. Ensure all disciplines/departments are aware of and agree to the schedule and understand their schedule responsibilities. * Work with all disciplines and stakeholders to coordinate work sequences and identify interdisciplinary and/or interface logical relationships and constraints for incorporation into the plan. * Assist with schedule updates and ongoing monitoring. * Identify variances and collaborate with the team to identify and implement mitigations as needed. * Assist in conducting comparative analyses against schedules of similar characteristics and scope that have already been executed to demonstrate plan feasibility. * Assist with "what-if" analysis of the project schedule as needed to determine the criticality of scheduled activities.
